CARDIOVASCULAR
The In-Vivo laboratory offers surgical facilities specifically designed for preclinical research, including two cardiac catheterization labs with digital angiography, equipped with Intra-Vascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Intra-Cardiac Echography (ICE) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner and a hybrid surgical room with computer tomography (CT) scanner are available on-site, allowing, among other applications, for cardiac functional assessment.
Vascular Research
AccelLAB’s experienced technical staff uses sophisticated medical imaging techniques in the study of cardiovascular implants and devices, including coronary and peripheral stents, localized balloon treatment, and local drug delivery. All the tools of the trade and expertise are available onsite for a complete evaluation of cardiovascular devices and techniques.
Cardiac Research
With the support of its Regenerative Medicine Laboratories, AccelLAB is also very active in the study of various treatment modalities for myocardial infarct whether it be with cell therapy or local drug delivery. AccelLAB's surgeons are experienced in both surgical and endovascular approaches.
